Undertaking consultancies constitutes a key aspect of Gravitazz Institute’s work. It has therefore been decided to establish the “Gravitazz Pool of Consultants” consisting of experts in the fields of disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation (CCA), resilience-building and other associated disciplines. While Gravitazz Institute employs in-house experts, it seeks to work with Partner Consultants (PCs) in case: a) An in-house expert is not available due to an on-going assignment; b) The assignment requires technical or specific expertise which is at the time not at the Institute’s disposal.
Mainly covering the African continent, Gravitazz Institute does not limit itself geographically and seeks to engage experts coming from all over the world, in order to be ready to act wherever technical expertise is needed.
Examples of consultancy assignment include but are not limited to: conducting of a study and delivery of a research report, provision of technical expertise, delivery of an evaluation product (e.g. baseline study, mid-term or final evaluation report), facilitation of a workshop, development and implementation of a policy or of any other strategic advice.
